Obviously this issue is gonna be EPIC
You know, despite the fact we were told this would be all new Hickman-written material, I was still kind of assuming this would be the usual format of one "main" story and four fairly self-contained backup stories, maybe related to the ongoing but basically just non-essential side stories.
I'm now starting to suspect that nope, this is actually five new chapters of the ongoing story in one issue.![]()
Seeing as Annihilus can just transfer his mind to a new young body, no, they probably cannot kill him without wiping out his entire species.
Why aren't you reading Winter Soldier? You should be!
Oh,
!@#$%^&*()
What did I say earlier about Annihilus appearing on a teaser?!
No, the Fantastic Four can't kill him, but Val and the rest of the Future Foundation class can and should. FOR JOHNNY!

Johnny Storm was dead; who is this resurrected Johnny Storm?
"Here, hold my Annihilus…" Johnny Storm, Fantastic Four #601
Wait. WAIT. Is that a… holo of Johnny? What the hell?!

Between this and #600, I'm really starting to believe that Johnny's coming back.
Wow Hickman is killing me with awesomeness. I was never a big Fantastic Four fan I only really liked Waid's run (other then stan and jacks), thought Millar's run was over rated, but man Hickman's is right up their with Waid's for me. Just Pure Awesomeness
Well, of course they can't.
They're good guys.![]()
The F4 have defeated Annihilus several times. Even two of them at the same time.
They need to make new villains because telling us all this stuff about old villains that have gone around way too many times is not exciting.
Nova killed him (til he was reborn in a younger body).
Does anyone else think that...
(possible spoiler)
...Annihilus is somehow Johnny Storm? I don't know much about Annihilus's powers, but one poster here said he could transfer himself to new bodies. Could he have taken over Johnny's body (after Johnny remained in the Negative Zone in #587), and Johnny's still alive in there somewhere?
