Definitely interested by SAUCER COUNTRY and SPACE MAN..More sci-fi in Vertigo is always good news..VOODOO CHILD could be interesting too, and SWEET TOOTH and I ZOMBIE still rules..
Add a THE EATERS title and I'll be done..No better things than some cannibals' thoughs about "the world we're living in"..
" Things are going to slide in all directions "
Leonard Cohen - The Future
Awww I wanted to know which Vertigo Resurrected 100 page collections are coming out in 2011.
2010
The Eaters
My Faith in Frankie
Sgt Rock: Between Hell and a Hard Place Part 1
Sgt Rock: Between Hell and a Hard Place Part 2
The Vertigo line is much weaker than it has been in a long time. Reprinted collections are the best thing they've got going right now.
Would love more like The Extremist, Finals or Johnny Double.
Very re-assuring panel. Vertigo has felt like it has been shrinking rapidly recently, but these announcements indicate otherwise. Some very cool stuff coming up.
I'm happy to see Vertigo actually put out a couple of new ongoings.
I am all over Saucer Country. Then again, I'll buy pretty much anything with Paul Cornell's name on it and seeing him paired with Ryan Kelly? Yes, please. As a big fan of his for some time, I've been really wanting to see him get a chance to do some creator-owned work in comics, so this is very cool.
Cornell really is one of those writers who has always shined brightest when given a lot of freedom, and it's hard to imagine a freer environment than a creator-owned book.

Only one 100-pager listed for all DC in January, reprinting 4/52 #1. :(
Im just excited to see many new Vertigo series and have something to choose from.
Nice to see Vertigo grow again.
Pull List:
The Walking Dead,Fatale,Near Death,Storm Dogs,Happy,BPRD,XO-Manowar
American Vampire,Animal Man,Swamp Thing
Daredevil, Winter Soldier,Indestructible Hulk
I wish DC could devote a fraction of their resources to doing a push on 5-10 original Vertigo titles for the grown-up audience.
Their line-up is the poorest it has ever been.
Spaceman is about the only thing to look forward to and it will be amazing but even then, I'm not wild about the cover artist.
I've read only the first TPB of Scalped. It was average-to-decent Vertigo fare, with some refreshing content and a good premise. Scalped has the best first cover I've ever seen. I appreciate the series even if I haven't been a collector.Scalped, Sweet Tooth, and The Unwritten would like a word with you.
(Seriously though, I find that all of their current ongoings are at least pretty good, with a few acting as standouts. But I am glad to hear about new ongoings on the horizon.)
But it's finishing up soon, as is Northlanders which I will miss.
The Unwritten is ok, I read the first TPB. I am a big Mike Carey fan and I can't wait to see what he does next.
Sweet Tooth, I've never read. Doesn't really look like a Vertigo title and doesn't look like my cup of tea but I'll try it.
Cheers
I still contend you're wrong about the current line up being poor, but hey, its all opinions, so shrug.
I would read more Scalped. I know I'm not alone in saying that it should be regarded as one of the best things Vertigo has done, ever. It really is great. As long as Scalped is still a monthly title, this can't be a poor era for Vertigo.
I'm a bit confused why you haven't read more of the Unwritten, if you're a big Carey fan. Like most works, the more you get into it and learn about the characters, the better it becomes. I'd suggest at least checking out the next few trades.
Also: what does a Vertigo title look like? Why is Sweet Tooth not a Vertigo-like title?
