“He’s thrown a kettle over a pub, what have you done?”
Nope. Fail.

It's in the spirit of the trope: hero mind controlled, situation grim, suddenly breaks out and oneshots the villain.
And the link you so thoughtfully provided "says something like". It doesn't limit it to a specific phrase. It then provides many examples which don't directly state "my turn". Please put more thought into the example links you provide if you're going to be so fastidious.
More "my turn" scans with the dialogue "my turn" "now it's my turn" etc., included plzthx
"So it looks like the villain has the hero on the ropes. The villain has just unleashed his superweapon - No One Could Survive That, surely!
But wait! The hero's just fine! In fact, that just gave him more confidence. Grinning, he says something like "Now it's my turn!" and proceeds to unleash an even more powerful attack and save the day."
Granted, The X-cutioners superweapon is adhesive snot, but that aside it's close enough. I could probably find a better example if I was at home.

No 'IN THE SPIRIT OF THE TROPE." FUCK THE TROPE.
The panels need to say "It's my turn." We want pure CLAREMONTIANISM.

There's way too much deviation from the intended spirit of the thread and/or Gambit scanzz.
hmm, i find it hard to believe that storm has never had a "now its my turn." i cant remember any time she said it. maybe in the arena?
