Buy comics by Bendis, Millar and Hickman...but stay away from Loeb! (well, his current stuff anyway)

Pull list : The Amazing spider-man, Ult. comics spider-man, Avergers and Justice league

the longstanding marvel comics idea of "dead means dead" came up as it would apply to the ultimate universe, to which amanat said "yes yes yes! This is the ultimate universe, and it's different from the regular marvel universe...we love being in this world where everything looks like it should look" although the editor dropped the slightly spoilery hint that "if you see another character that looks like they might be dead, you should think that's a little fishy."

Why must they keep teasing us with these Ultimate X-Men covers that make it seem like they're reforming the X-Men? Good cover with Ultimate Spider-Man, though I's so-so on the Ultimates Cover.

Peter Parker's return hint, anyone? Or better yet, what I've been saying all along: he isn't actually dead, so dead still means dead.

In the same paragraph where they say "dead means dead" is on? I smell fish.

    My favorites are

UC:XM (Despite them still teasing us with Kitty's new uniform making this the third time they've teased us with X-Men uniforms)
UC:SM (Would've tied for first but Mile's face as just too real looking. And something about those eyes...)
UC:TU (Just doesn't seem to get me as pumped as the other two.)

My theory is that they'll keep people's hopes up about Peter Parker's return, slightly hinting at that, and doing an event next year close to the release of the new movie.

More hopes than theory, but yeah.

Captain America is nowhere to be found. Nick Fury feels bad for the death of Peter - or does he?. I don't know man, I have a good feeling about this. S.H.I.E.L.D. is first and foremost a super spy agency. I still have this feeling that neither Peter or Norman are dead, it was all a set up to take Peter out of the picture, and as soon as they realize there's a new guy calling himself Spider-Man, they'll come after him too.

Hawkeye is selling like crap. I'd assume we'll get an Avengers/Ultimates mini to cash on the upcoming Avengers movie.

They won't do it for the film. Heck they're even hinting that 616 Peter will die in 2012

Yes, we still don't have confirmation on his death. And we all knows what happens when Osborn's death isn't confirmed and it just looks like he's dead. Or if he is confirmed dead....Or any time. Maybe this is just a Friday night thing for him.

Wrong. Dan Slot already clarified that Peter is not going anywhere on the 616 universe.
