Sounds good - and as it's Image it should be same-day digital. I'm looking forward to this.
Anyone who thinks DC is bringing back the Silver Age doesn't know what the Silver Age is.
There is no such word as "persay," it's per se, two words, from the Latin.
Between this and Brian K. Vaughan's Saga, 2012 is shaping up to be a promising year for comics.
So wait..."long-form"? Does this mean we're getting...Brubaker/Phillips on an actual ongoing?
*commences drooling*
I really want to read this. Lots of people say that they are going to expand on the femme fatale archetype, but it always becomes the same old thing. Let's see them try and do something different.
I still haven't read their Criminal books, will sometime though, but I'll hop on this for sure. Looks great.
DROKK IT!!
I... am a bit perplexed regarding this series-reveal...
Why is this an Image-book, exactly? Marvel has set up their Icon-imprint precisely for the purpose of letting the creators publish their own stuff, but keeping it "within the family" so to speak.
Is... Bru' displeased with Marvel all of a sudden? He has published books within the Icon imprint before, so I can't quite understand this one...
It's a bit disconcerting actually! :( Could there be bad blood a-brewing between Bru' and Marvel?? And just when he's finally got his buddy Rucka over there and everything...
Definitely picking this up. Of course, I'd say that about anything produced by the Brubaker/Phillips duo.

Can't say no to a new Brubaker/Phillips joint. I wonder what happened to Val Staples though since Stewart seems to have taken over abruptly from the middle of the last Criminal arc. Not that I'm complaining, for my money Stewart is the best colorist in the business.
Brubaker/Phillips is not about Marvel tag or Image tag on their comics to me. Its my fav comic creators team by far right now. I loved Criminal story arcs, Incognito. Im thrilled to read a crime/supernatural horror by fav team.
Cant wait even if this comic is old news to me. If you read criminals, Brubaker mentioned Fatale in the last Criminal issue back page.
Pull List:
The Walking Dead,Fatale,Near Death,Storm Dogs,Happy,BPRD,XO-Manowar
American Vampire,Animal Man,Swamp Thing
Daredevil, Winter Soldier,Indestructible Hulk
Sounds really awesome!

The answer to your question is in the article. Bru has promised Stephenson & Kirkman he'd something with Image for years, he finally felt the time was right for a project with them, that's it.
Doesn't sound like anything personal. Marvel apparently doesn't make a dime from the Icon books so I doubt they care.
Love Criminal and Incognito so I can't wait for this.
Count me in for this one. Loved Crimal: Last of the Innocent and also recently read Gotham Central. Brubaker does these type of stories very very well!
