Suicide Squad was a title I passed up initially, but snatched it up last minute at the lcs before it was gone (I hate 2nd printings)

I LOVE Harley Quinn and the cover art is one of my favorites in the New 52... However the inside art...didn't impress me. It wasn't TERRIBLE...but it wasn't pleasing either. So I put this one down and past it up when it first came out.

Like I said, I eventually went back and picked it up...And was I glad I did. I really enjoyed the first issue. What a great concept to show who these characters are, entertain, and have a quaint (although slightly predictable ending).

This is one of those titles that wasn't the perfect blend of great writing and great art. The writing in this book is what makes it a "must" in my pull list...I will just hope that soon they will invest in a better art style for this book.

Im on the cusp about this book due to the et up nature of the first issue. Got the second issue here to read later. Im hoping for good things as I actually liked the dialogue in the first issue. Especially Harkeys line 'You Havn't got his smile'. It captured Harley as a psycopathic yet symapthetic character.

Default i like indie alley at comic con international

you know what is so interesting? how the artist on this book is federico dalocchio, who used to draw a sick-ass indie comic book called hard-bullied comics, that has as the big bad a character named "hammerhead", who is a hammerhead shark man. it is intresting that the king shark in suicide squad now looks like this indie character, and both comic books were drawn by the same man. look at hard bullied on graphicly, covers for 2 and 3, tho the character don't wear a suit inside.

that is really quite a coincidence, don't you think?

Coming in as a new DC reader on the 52 this has been one of my favorites so far, loved the twists at the end of issue two, it also fills the gap in pull list since the Thunderbolts got a bit too tame over at Marvel.
