    Default CBR: Marvel Releases Android App

    Marvel Comics has announced the debut of a dedicated app on the Android platform, developed and released through digital distributor comiXology.

    So I need two apps now?

    The Comixology app I have now that has every company BUT Marvel availble and a seperate app to buy Marvel books.

    Do I have that right?

    Hot Damn Finally. Guess Have to Tweak my Pull list to ten titles. 5 DC and 5 marvel.

    The Comixology App also have the Marvel books. From the article: "Android fans can rejoice that Marvel’s amazing comics are now on the Marvel Comics app and Comics by comiXology app for Android," said David Steinberger, CEO of comiXology."

    BTW, it's about freaking time Marvel.

    No. I believe the only place you can do that is through the Marvel app on the Chrome browser.

    yeah it sucks. I can pull up the marvel digital library on my phone but the panels dont fit well on my phone.

    Finally! Now I want my Marvel comics from comixology on this app, but it only asks for a Marvel account and not my comixology one.

    Well, I just tested this. Marvel Comics I've previously bought through Comixology cannot be viewed either on the Comixology-app or the Marvel Comics-app. So it looks like the only way for me to read Marvel on Android is to buy them again, either directly through the Comixology-app or the Marvel Comics-app.
    Stupid. Why I can't read the Marvel-comics I've already bought on the Comixology Android-app is beyond me...

    It's cool that they are trying, I just wish the execution was better. I also wish they would think about their fans a little more and give access to title that have already been purchased.

    Seems pretty good so far, I only asked about it in Axel-In-Charge just over a fortnight ago so that is pretty good as well.
    Current Pull List: Avengers, Uncanny X-Force,Justice League, JLI, Red Lanterns, GL: New Guardians, Amazing Spider-Man.
