This guy is awesome! He loves the Ultimate line, but hated Ultimatum!

The wolverine anime peaked too early.

Omega red was so awesome a redesign and the fight so epic, that when he was done, the bishonin assassin buddy seemed really boring in comparison and even the epic fight with ogun was...meh.

he should have been the final boss...bar none...and needs his own spin off.

While I really love the animation I just can't get into the stories for Wolverine and Iron Man.

Wolverine was really great in the first few eps but the story has gone NOWHERE and it's just dragged out at this point. Iron Man was too episodic for me and seemed like an 80's animated "fight giant monster robot of the week" story.

I'm hoping X-Men has a better story. I'm ok with the cast but would've loved to see more characters or favorites of mine like Psylocke but it looks great and I applaud Marvel for really thinking outside the box with these series.

yeah we kinda had the same response.

we were doing a marathon and were just about to turn it off and then omega red showed up out of nowhere...and we nerdgasmed.

seriously awesome and underused character...when the hell did he die?

I've already seen the entire Japanese X-men series subbed but I'll tune in for the first episode just to see how the American voices sound. But I thought the series was terrible. It was definitely made for a Japanese audience. I just couldn't get into it.

Who's doing the voice actor for Wolverine?

It better be Steve Blum (Wolverine & The X-Men), or the dude who did the 1990 Fox TV version.

I thought that they'd use Milo Ventimiglia in this one too but I read somewhere that it would be Steve Blum. Just feels weird that they're changing the VA when all of these series are supposed to be taking place in the same universe. But I'll have to admit that Steve Blum seems infinitely better choice to voice Logan.

OK, just saw the first episode. Thought it funny that the voice actor for Wolverine is the same as Spike on Cowboy Bebop. Thought that the voice actor chosen for Storm sounded completely wrong. Have no problem with them going to Japan as longtime fans know that the X-Men traveled there more than once back in the 80's.

I found it interesting that there is a very tight core group this time around, as the comics these days have them practically tripping all over themselves there are so many freaking characters anymore. I was sorry to not see either Shadowcat or Dazzler, Alison's powers would look really awesome in this anime format.

Finally I found amusing that all the female characters have, well,....erm....rather predominant lactary endowments. I'm looking forward to how this series progresses forward as it is definitely for the most part a more mature take than many of the other X-cartoons that have been attempted over the years.
    Pull list:
Adv. Time, Batgirl, B & R, BOP, E 2, Fearless Defenders, Guardians of the Galaxy, He-Man, JL: Dark, Katana, Shadowman, Swamp Thing, The Ultimates, Ultimate Spider-Man, Worlds' Finest

I accually found Wolverine fitting as a shonen anime hero. He has alot of the qualities of one with his mutant power and personality.
Yeah I give up. They would need like a bajillion UNs to take it out. And they would all have to work.
