How long has it been since Marvel announced that J. Scott Campbell/Jeph Loeb Spider-Man book, anyway?
I'll take a populist tone here, and say that if a project was announced years ago, the artist shouldn't be commissioned to provide new material until that project is finished.
Still, this is a special occasion.
I was going to whinge about how they're getting variant covers by artists who are producing Spider-Man stuff elsewhere, but it does kinda make sense to have a Cliffhanger reunion.
It's okay. He draws cute women but when it comes to super-dudes and action scenes, his work just comes off as a bit flat and static to me.
Nice name to nab though, it sells.
Really wish he'd stop with the covers and do a Spidey book with interiors. Don't care if it's a one shot, the mini series with Loeb, a What If? or an Annual just want to see a full Spidey comic by Campbell

Eh, it' OK. I like Quesada's Spidey/Cap cover better.
Oh, and I think I agree with Mets. If the project is announced, it should be completed. Of course, if that were the case, Kevin Smith would never work again!![]()

That's a nice cover. I like the regular and Ramos covers more, but good job on J Scott's part.
And seriously, I WANT THAT LOEB/CAMPBELL SERIES. LIKE NOW.
