Not only are they supporting gay marriage, they're supporting interracial gay marriage!?
Archie Comics have gone too far!!!![]()

It's the end of the world as we know it!
Just joking
I think this is really cool and am looking forward to buying this comic as soon as I can get it![]()
Archie: the most socially relevant mainstream comic book...
How the hell did that happen?!
To be fair, I can think of several multi-racial gay/bi couples at the big 2 (Batwoman and Question 2, Thunder and Grace, Mik/Starman and his late bf, 2 of the Young Avengers, etc.), but they seem to be down on marriage in any form (see Peter/MJ, post-reboot Clark/Lois, Barry/Iris, Arthur/Mera, Wally/Linda, etc.).
Pull List; seems to be too long to fit in my sig...
Definitely!
I'm aware of yet another gay couple at DC as my fave comic character *points to avatar at left* Todd (Obsidian/Obie) is also a member of a gay couple with his partner Damon (yeah, they're both white, I won't make any jokes how Obie changes back and forth from white to black here)
I would love to see Todd and Damon getting married in a DC comic.
But you're right! The DCNu definitely has been a marriage killer thus far.
The best hope of marriage preservation in the DCNu might be the fact the JSA will be moved back to Earth 2 in its new series coming next year so that might preserve the existing marriages for the JSA and JSA-related characters (& there are a number of them who were married pre-relaunch).
Would that mean DC would be progressive enough to say allow Todd and Damon to either already be married or get married?
We shall see![]()

Heh... I'd buy a copy of "Kevin's Boy Friends Barney and Victor" (or whatever male-versions-of-Betty-and-Veronica's-names they choose). :-p
Hmmm....
good question
*stares amusingly at both DC and Marvel*![]()
Yeah, though DC does have Batwoman leading a major title, so that's good. Still, Archie's got more marriage action (gay or straight) than DC at this point (and in an alternate-future-set title no less), which *is* bizarre... :-p
