This is sucktastic. Completely understandable, but still sucktastic.

Would it be worthwhile to add it to the welcome email that people receive once they've confirmed their registration at the board? Some boards I'm part of have a lower limit, but to change things like avatar photos and sigs there was none.
Good show though, you're CS was right on me when I asked questions! "I'm new here" so thanks for making me feel right at home!
I'm glad I was able to find this thread, I was wondering if my activation link or whatever had been faulty. I registered a while ago and haven't come back until now.
I understand the need for this kind of pre-moderation though, I'll hit "real user" status eventually, haha.
Edit: Realised it already is stickied, didn't want to look like a jerk suggesting that when it already is.

Okay, I thought I would have to create a new account.
An effort to reduce spam is the cause of me to go make 13 posts so I can send a pvt msg. lol
Mods,
Would it be possible to get my account activated/authenticated prior to 20 posts? I'm trying to help some of your users with some issues they've been reporting with Super Hero Squad Online, and I'm having to respond to board PMs via email. Please feel free to email me if you need to authenticate who I am!
Thanks!
Sincerely,

How many posts do we need to make before we can change our general settings?
I can't even change something as simple as my location at the moment.
I just made this account and I tried to access my settings so I could upload an avatar, but whenever I try to do anything in the user control panel, I get the message:
"RadioActiveLunch, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:
Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation."
I am confuzzled. Someone help please.
You need to reach 20 posts before you can edit your profile.
The sticky at the top of the board.

Is that so? Well then, thank you very much for your help.
So I had to reset my password recently and now I'm locked out of editing my profile, sending pms, even accessing my settings to a certain degree. I keep getting this message when I try to edit anything or even send a PM.

Can someone please help me or give me an email address that I can email. I really don't want to have to remake my whole account.
Thank you!

You''ll be able to edit your profile once you reach 20 posts.
Thanks....that clears it up.(I thought it was strange I couldn't edit my settings but now I see why).
