Yeah, the boys were back a lot sooner (and a heck of a lot easier) than I expected. No doubt there's still more of the story to tell, though, but it's been kind of slow-going so far.

Yeah and to me....i was hoping they would be gone a little longer just so the new team could actually be developed

not only that but it didn't seem like a struggle or a fight to get them back it just kinda happened.....and as for the forces that kidnapped them? never seen again after the first issue

Why would they be?

Everything's laid out in the story. Those things were sent to capture Peter and the boys. Until issue 3, Peter and crew were captured. What reason would there be to show the collectors again until the guys escaped?

And it didn't just "kinda happen." They didn't just appear out of thin air... well, they did, but they had to blow up a proton pack to do it, so it was a proactive escape. (:
