I am familiar with six shooter. But it seems like the timing of a book coming out with a similar title to a best seller is kind of weird. Then again I could just be reading into it.

Well, Marvel's book is set in modern times featuring revamped versions of established characters. I'd agree that you're reading too much into it.

Ha. I only got the title I didn't know what company was putting the book out.

I love this book so much. I just read up to issue #16 last night. I think it might be my fav book right now!

Thier book The Damned is awesome too.

just wanted to bump this thread. re read 1 - 16 today, re-ignited my love for the book. i love the momentum of the story and how there are constantly new characters and concepts being introduced seamlessly.

cullen, any chance of some flashback stories dealing with the previous incarnations of the guns (like the crusaders swords or the cavemens clubs seen in issue 6)?

glad to hear you're planning a 40-50 issue run too. 6th gun along with the aforementioned mr jason aarons "scalped" are two books i look forward to reading the most each month.

the whole team on the book is spectacular, everyone should keep up the good work!

I think there's a good chance you'll get some of this in issue 17!

17 was great! cool to see a flashback to the guns previous incarnations, and i really loved the last 2 page spread with gord leaving. if i'm not mistaken, that's the first double splash in the whole series, right? regardless if it was or not it was very effective. "Penance" is such a cool name for a town in a horror based book too. can't wait for more.

Well... we do have a definite ending in mind, so the series will stop one day. We have it planned out for 50 issues or so.
