    Is Plawsky missing? Why is there another one of these Threads? I can still post on II.

    I think a better name for II would be ADDENDUM for sequel. This one could be called TRINITY meaning three.

    What exactly do you talk about in an off-topic thread? Do I just throw a randomly choosen topic in here and discuss it?

    It can be about anything, it's so we don't ALWAYS have to talk about Ultimate Comics with the regulars.

    @Robbie_Jee

    This was my last post I really must stress this article

    A 7-year-old girl responds to DC Comics’ sexed-up reboot of Starfire

    "Is this new Starfire someone you'd want to be when you grow up?"

    *she gets uncomfortable again*"Not really. I mean, grown ups can wear what they want, but…she's not doing anything but wearing a tiny bikini to get attention."
    This article really choked me up.

    I also recommend reading the links that it has.

    I used to not like him, but there are rare gems I HIGHLY recommend Action Comics #775. It's considered the best Superman story ever written. I also really liked Our World's At War, JMS's Grounded (didn't read anything that wasn't his in the arc though), and Superman: Earth One. I'm also the kind of person who needs to read everything and DC's continuity issues are even worse in the reboot

    The only starfire I ever knew was the one from the cartoon, the peacful and over happy foreigner who liked to drink mustard. Don't know how the regular starfire acts... but that is highly offensive to me in more ways than most could ever hope to be. Is the general reception negative for her? Or positive, or indiferent?

    The only Superman comics I've read were found at the library, and those were the Doomsday stuff (Enjoyed seeing Superman die), and What's So Funny About Truth Justice And The American Way (I liked that one). It's basically just Superman as a person, his powers, and the way the general public (in the comic) reacts to him that bother me the most, though.

    Most people have a negative reaction to her now. Honestly I don't see what's wrong I mean so what her costume got a little better but people are all up in arms about it. I'm like you I didn't read the comics she was in and saw her in Teen Titans she was one of the reasons I hated the show.

    What's So Funny About Truth Justice And The American Way = Action Comics 775

    This is from All-Star Superman (which I HIGHLY recommend, if you ever wondered why people like Superman, that is your go to book)

    Negative. I grew up reading The New Teen Titans and Johns run on the Teen Titans and I LOVED Starfire in the show, she was my favorite character in all three.

    Oh I get the STAR TREK reference now. I don't watch it.

    I don't think it's reached it's limit. I've just posted there.
