The solicit says 7 new stories, so there can't be many more. Maybe one of them has a co-writer?

According to the press release that was issued with yesterday's image, it's connected:

I think some might be connected, but not all. I think Ultron and the Nova one are separate.

Unless they give me a Nova monthly or another awesome cosmic monthly book like Guardians i wont trust marvel or go near their cosmic stories, events.


Why i should i waste money on seeing small timers in Avengers outshining cosmic heroes who is another world, level....

I want to see Nova back with the Avengers but on the main team rather than the Secret Avengers team.

No, he should remain a full on cosmic hero. Being on the Avengers would limit him, and he would be overshadowed...

I was at first uncertain about the new outfit but after seeing costumes redesigns such as this:



I realized that as the costume was pretty good as the redesign keeps to the the orginal elements while still being recognizable. We won't have such mess as Thor's 90s outfit.

Yeah, the end goal was to develop an entire corner of the MU, rather than pushing just one character.

Conquest gave a good deal of spotight to Starlord certainly, though I would argue the one they trying to push hardest in that event was probably Phyla (for reasons I'll never know as she sucked... and that ended up kind of a waste).

War of Kings seemed more about pushing the Inhumans than anything else.

Reign of Kings was sort of all over the place... but Thanos Imperative definately brough the focus back to Nova.

Would it have been better to push Nova as the cosmic center piece of it all, or try and develop various other aspects more evently? I think you could make a descent arguement either way. I certainly support the idea of pushing Nova... though I wasn't actually complaining about Starlord or the Inhumans either.

They did do a good job of fleshing out the cosmic universe in a way that hadn't been done in a long time. I miss Guardians, which was one of my favorite books. Putting Drax, Groot, Rocket Raccoon and Gamorra on one team was genius. I could read that by any writer who cared about voice and character motivations.

I think the problem with the Guardians of the Galaxy was the concept was so watered down at the end, I'm not sure who even counted as a Guardian at the end. There was like 3 different teams running around, and it was sort of all over the place in the end.

In a way Guardians of the Galaxy ended up less being a team book (though it started out that way), and more like a book showing the various cosmic characters in the MU.

But since the end plan apparently was to build the Annihilators, I guess creating a set team of heroes to be the Guardians didn't matter as much. Though honestly I did like the Guardians more than the Annihilators at least from a character standpoint.

Hardly and it was always his dream to be part of the Avengers.

Anyway, since this ties to the Avengers: X-Sanction story, it might be a Nova from an alternate timeline or such.
