Waiting for Amazon UK to get the HC in (damn US always gets everything first!) but I really like the direction this current arc is heading.

I love the way this series passes through great jumps in time, different eras, and morphs the themes of the book but keeps a very constant feel like its definitely the same comic.
Currently enjoying: Batman, Batwoman, Dial H, Detective Comics, American Vampire, Saga, The Manhattan Projects, Locke and Key, Atomic Robo, East of West...

I was hoping that volume 2 would be available for the Kindle Fire by now, because I wanna stay digital if I can. Guess I'm just going have to purchase the physical copies so I read the current issues.

If any series is worth it, it's this one!

I finally got caught up last night. I love EVERY DAMN issue. Survival of the Fittest was awesome. I hope there are more related mini-series written by Synder.

Now I need to get caught up on Locke & Key and The Walking Dead.

Vol 3 just came out as well. I kinda wished I waited for Vol 3 as it has tons of material in it. Very well worth the $.

I wouldn't be surprised if there's one announce soon by March. He said he was going to have another one this summer starring Lindon Hobbes. Last I remember it being mentioned, it's gonna be called American Vampire: Lord of Nightmares. Could have changed though.

Is there a trade of Survival of the Fittest on the way? I've pre-ordered Vol. 3 (not quite out in the UK yet) but not seen SOTF anywhere yet.

SotF is in volume 3, so double the fun for a bargain price :)

I really enjoyed the spin-off and the series. I hope that this last at least 50 to 60 issues.
    Who's there?

    K-k-k-k-kombo Breaker!

Anybody know if DC is planning on ever releasing vol. 2 in softcover? Nothing showing yet on Amazon.
The HC dates from May 31, 2011.
'The marquis. Well, you know, to be honest, he seems a little bit dodgy to me.'
'Mm,' she agreed. 'He's a little bit dodgy in the same way that rats are a little bit covered in fur."

According to Vertigo website 2 May.

TP 3 should then come in September, as is HC 4, according to Vertigo's Blog.
