    Default Person Of Interest

From the mind of JJ Abrams comes Minority Report the series.

The idea behind the series is that Ben Linus comes up with some sort of computer algorithm that gives him the social security number of a person that is going to be involved in some sort of crime. Unable to do anything about it he hires Jesus Christ to help him investigate the person to see if he can stop the crime before it happens.

Michael Emerson was hugely popular in JJ Abrams Lost and Jim Caviezel was man enough to play Jesus Christ so the hopes are high for this series. Just not my hopes. I would much rather watch Alcatraz and Awake but we have to wait till the middle of the season to see those and since the Office hasn't been good in a while I'll catch it on hulu and give the pilot of this show a try tonight at 9 oclock on CBS

I am looking forward to this. Caviezel is a good actor and the concept may work. I will be checking it out tonight after Big Bang.

Can't wait until it comes on tonight. Now I no longer must grieve the cancellation of Human Target . I have been blessed with something MUCH better (by J.J Abrams and Johnathan Nolan no less! ). I can tell I'm going to love this

My problem is with the two person cast. JJ does better with ensembles. And really a cast of two people just isn't anything to be excited about.

I was ready to say to hell with this show at the half hour mark. But then I realized what it was. It's The Punisher with the support of Brother Eye. Caviezel looked a lot like Christian Bale when he was in his bum get up. I'm glad I gave this show a shot.

Wait, you mean Jesus goes around dispensing lethal justice? Color me more intrigued.

He doesn't like to kill people but he is good at it.

This looks to be a winner. It's like Batman meets Early Edition meets The Punisher.

The acting was great, and it will be something of an ensemble cast. You've got the dirty cop/informant and the FBI agent who'll be tracking "the man in the suit" down.

Having that informant makes it seem like Caviez-El is playing a bit of The Shadow, as well, setting up his (first?) agent/driver.

    I never thought of that...cool.

It also went to show that he's a good judge of character and he doesn't kill for the hell of it.

What I liked about it is that they can do self contained stories each week and not have it be the novel approach with one ongoing plotline. No big "Lost" type mystery. I guess JJ learned his lesson.

It was pretty good. I'm hoping it'll pick up as the season progresses and by the finale it should be really good.

I'm backing you up on this one.
