Quick Question:

Artemis seems to be a composite of elements of Tigress 2 and Arrowette. I have not seen Image, but comments by people who have makes me wonder if Queen Bee is instead of being one of the good number of villainesses to hold that name (mainly either aliens or femme Fatale dictators of the Bialyan) is either a composite of the two (even if Greg Weisman says it's the first Bialyan Queen Bee, it could have change or we still might see links to the alien Bee people version of Queen Bee even if it is not a composite).

Plus it would hook into the theme of Invasion if it links with the alien Queen Bee....

Thoughts?

I think the reason why the guardian and roy sound alike was just too save money so they re-used the same VA.

I'd be willing to bet good money against that paper-thin argument.

Artemis reminds me of steph rather than arrowette but point taken.

I'm not ruling out her being both an alien and a femme fatale but i think people might not know she is alien as it could be a trump card she keeps hidden. plus revealing that she is an alien might give probable cause to the justice league to go shut her down.

i would find it funny if she was just a human villianes who gets infected by the queen bee next season.

They made quite a moment with Superboy saying Guardian looked like Red Arrow. I guess we could accept the explanation that Roy is his nephew, so he looks and sounds like him.

Like it's a wink to the fans, they use the same actor and someone said in the 70s they mentioned them being related but with YJ these small things seem to be planted for a reason. I really appreciate how they lay down clues and I have to wonder.

Maybe the Guardian is a clone? He was cloned from the original in the comics. Would they make Roy a clone, or could Guardian be a aged up clone of Roy?

Yup. I did however think the S-shield being burned into his chest was a nod to Prime though. Especially since we're not likely to see him.

I hate that they reintroduced the Lex Luthor/Superman lovechild crap. I hated when Johns brought in the comics, and I'm glad that's actually not a possibility with the new 52.

Really? Have they revealed all his DNA donors yet? I didn't read the issue but reviews said the experiment to merge human and kryptonian DNA seems like a failure- until they find out he's just fine.

To anyone who enjoyed "Downtime" and the YJ version of Atlantis, I would suggest getting issue 14 out now of the comic book tie-in. Kaldur takes Superboy and Ms. Martian back to Atlantis, and they show some great cameos and more details on Kaldur's past.

I haven't picked it up yet, looking forward to it. The cover has Miss Martian with a mermaid tale.

Bizzarro, maybe Bizzarro Prime? I liked how it was "Project Match" as he's really the YJ version of Match.

Well even Johns turned Match into the Bizzaro Superboy (even though that defeated the whole point of the character). This character is Match, but in a way he's also a nod to Bizzaro, because he's the first attempt to clone Superman, and thus he was really unstable. Like Bizzaro in TAS.

Actually what I said earlier is misleading. I just meant that it's a possibility that's not the case. We just know that he has 3 donors, so worst case scenario he's 1/3 Luthor.
