    Default PIS definition?

I keep seeing people use the abbreviation PIS when discussing characters who are written into a victory or a defeat that is inconsistent with the power levels of the characters in conflict...

Okay, I guess the definition is not what I'm looking for, that's pretty clear from the context. But what do the letters stand for? It's making me crazy.

    A little help? Thanks.

    Plot-Induced Stupidity.

Basically it's the idea that the storyline is letting someone win, rather than their abilities. Such as someone conveniently forgetting to use their superspeed, or a normal person knocking out someone who could normally laugh off a hit from a tank shell.
    A Flock of Sheep.
    A Pack of Wolves.
    An Inconvenience of Heroes.

"Plot Induced Stupidity." That totally fits with the context when I've read it.

I tried Urban Dictionary, which 9 times out of 10 has the answer, but not this time...

    Thanks, Omegalith. Greatly appreciated.
