Egad! Character development? Sounds much more interesting than Marvel savaging its heroes (again) or DC rebooting theirs (again)! Good job, Archie comics!

the owner of conspiracy comics(the one that would not sell Action Comics 1) isn't gonna sell this one either..... just a guess.
I still don't give a flip about Archie comics. They're just too preppy for me.
I can see how this would be a good move for them, but a gay character isn't a selling point (or a detracting point) for me and I predict the novelty will wear off eventually. Like that time they started adding supernatural elements to their stories (only time I read an Archie comic).
Took the words right out of my mouth!
Yay Archie Comics!!!

I wonder if Kevin's significant other is an all new character or someone that has already been in the comics
Maybe it's Rotor the gay Walrus from Sonic the Hedgehog. ;)
UNTRUE. Apollo and Midnighter tied the knot in DC Comics' Authority #29 in 2002.While gay marriage has proven a contentious political issue across America the past few years, this is the first time such a ceremony will appear in a mainstream comic from a major publisher.
Dilton, cause he has yet to appear in the Life with Archie mag.

Isn't this a bit too soon?

This news was announced at the Gays In Comics Panel – Year 24 back at Comic-Con. It’s too bad that not a single comic press person was there among the 1,500-2,000 attendees at the panel…

I'm glad to see a mainstream publication taking on this subject (and Archie is still the only comic you can go to the grocery store and buy sadly). At a time when the state I live in is set to vote on a ban of gay marriage next year (in May, where conservatives are hoping to catch people off guard and get this unconstitutional dreck passed), I'm glad to see more mainstream acceptance of everyone. I'm a straight male who can see the dangers in this, I mean if we start telling people they don't have the same rights as others just because they are gay, then what will stop politicians from pushing the envelope further and denying rights to people based on other things... It's a dangerous mentality and the very reason that separation of Church and State was created!
*Sorry, that's my one off political rant, no more, I swear!*
