see now that david finch cover is ALOT better than the other one he did for birds of prey![]()
I hope something interesting happens in this title as I am on the fence about it. May give the first 4 issues a try. Wasn't impressed with Saiz' art work on the previous Birds of Prey series.
One of them gets crippled and becomes the new Oracle?

I'm not sure 3 issues is sufficient to establish a real status quo, let alone one that needs to be dramatically altered.
Had no intention of getting this but I think I might actually. I'm an Ivy fan and didn't realise she was even in it until the other night.

Masked Man Issue 1 Reviews
Pulling: Batman, Batwoman, The Cape, Daredevil, Fatale, Luther Strode, The Strain
My guess? Barbara has been secretly helping the Birds the entire time and she becomes a full-fledged member of the team in #4.
You establish a status quo. So, three issues and change to do that, and then you do something to violate hardcore that status quo.
It's not hard to do, though it can be hard to do well. Psycho manages a major change in its status quo without needing an exceptional amount of time to establish that SQ, as does the Ira Levin novel mentioned in the article. Doom Generation. Angel Heart. The comic, The Filth.
