really? I thought AZ was pretty much wrapped out. How many votes are uncounted?

It's pretty simple. Florida is stupid.

Some of you have to have republican reps you can hassle, i already called mine!

My representative is a fucking loon. I wrote to him twice in the last session saying that we need to cut spending and raise taxes in order to cut the deficit, but he insists that we can balance the budget by cutting taxes and cutting spending everywhere except for Medicare, Social Security, military (and I presume the interest) which leaves about 1/4 of the budget.

But I'll be emailing at least one of my senators (Bill Nelson) telling him to get on the horn about trying to put together a budget some year. Sure, it's likely to get as much attention in the House as the votes to end Obamacare received in the Senate, but it provides a point for negotiation.

Pima County still counting 10K or more ballots

County ballot count expected to last until end of next week

Pima County made progress Thursday on verifying and counting more of the estimated 80,000 ballots that weren't counted on Election Day.

But the county still has around 50,000 ballots to go. Elections officials don't expect to have them all counted until the end of next week, leaving a number of close races unsettled.
