Washington is a natural born proven leader who helped create the foundations of the U.S. You are actually comparing his qualifications to Obama? Lincoln has experience in being leader by serving as a captain of an Illinois Militia during the Black Hawk War. he also had a career in being a very successful lawyer

Neither of which qualified him to run a country. The qualities needed in a military leader, in particular, are very different from those needed by an administrator.

Just to clarify a bit, there is no "free" healthcare. How could it be ? Money has to come from somewhere.

That's what we call the principle of solidarity. Workers pay for those who can't, the unemployed, the sick or the old people for example. It's a social contribution who is directly deduced from your pay each month. (around 30 euros, depends of the familial situation but it's fairly equal)

And of course once you finally reach yourself the age of retirement (62, you can work more if you want so but no less, expect if you started working at the age of 16) then it's up to the young people to pay for you.

Solidarity. Those who can pay for those we can't. Maybe some of you may find this system a bit unfair but you have to keep something important in mind. You will be sick. You will lose a job or two and you will one day retire. (if you're still alive)

So at some point or another you WILL benefit from it.

    ShadowWarrior gives a pet peeve:

Reagan at least had executive experience. which Obama had none. I should have mentioned that earlier. Obama has no executive experience at all prior to becoming president.
And Governors usually have no experience in national government. Really, the whole "executive experience" argument is irrelevant. There are strengths and weaknesses to both.

Go tell that to the Canadian women with breast cancer who can't get treatment in Canada.

Yes, because single incidents are representative. Really, why are you wasting your time? I'm done doing so.

No the only diferrences is the size in scope and scale. What makes Obama qualified to be president? What significant successful laws did he pass as a politician that made a positive impact prior to being president? Why are you so enamored by him?

Well, his job experience at that so far beats that of any of the other current candidates.
