Welp, Nate Silver has adjusted Obama's reelection chances up to 82.7%, which is getting pretty close to his highest number, 86.2%. He's now giving Ohio an 82.3% chance of a win for Obama, Colorado 67.4%, and Virginia 66.5%.

Florida is down to a 54.6% Romney win.

The ad about how Lincoln freed the slaves has seemingly backfired hugely.

I can imagine the Castro ad is having the same effect in Florida

Joe Manchin . He's a moderate democrat and has some Republican beliefs mixed in. But he could likely be the next big candidate. In this election its claimed he's crushing John Raese for his 2nd Senate election. In fact here is a campaign ad that he runs which basically shows his appeal.

He's likely one of the best candidates the party could run. Since he's got such a high favorable rating .
Plus he now has the SUPERECWFAN1 bump, which should seal the deal.

As a Black Man, I have to say, Congrats Republican Party that was the most offensive presidential ad I've seen all year.

There were numerous strong contenders, but at the death, you pulled it out. You somehow managed to insult EVERY African American's knowledge of history in one ad, while at the same time framing why you struggle so damn hard with voters who aren't white and male. Cudos, because I didn't think it could be done in such a succinct manner.

Obama wants to streamline the government, Romney/Ryan lie and sell it as the opposite of that on the stump and in a new ad.

My take on the key states on election night from east to west.

Pennsylvania: probably going to Obama. If he loses here its an early sign he's in serious trouble.

Virginia: Essentially tied. If Obama wins his its a favaroable sign since he's generally seen as holding a narrow EC college lead with out.

North Carolina: the flip-side of PA. Probably goign to romney, if he loses he's in serious trouble.

Florida - currently seen as narrowly in the Romney camp. If Obama wins here, he's probably won

Ohio - The key state. If Obama loses Virginia, NC and Florida he can still win if he takes Ohio.

Wisconsin and Colorado - both currently leaning Obama. If Romney wins Florida and loses Ohio, he might still win if he can take these two states.

It's going to make me so incredibly happy when the Republicans lose two Senate seats because they decided being anti-abortion was more important than being anti-rape.

In an ideal world it would mean the end of anti-abortion politics, but I know that's not going to happen.

I gave Obama the SuperE bump back in 2004 . People laughed then when they said he was too young. But as I told em... he will do it. 4 years later , the SuperE bump worked.
