I...I think this ad has a chance of making employment math trends penetrate into the electoral psyche of watchers. I dunno, but the simple, visual way it's laid out seems like it should be very effective to me.

An email campaign launched this week (pictured, below) featuring the endorsement of Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) depicts a rifle pointing at President Barack Obama’s head, and a message about an imaginary “million rifle ban” the president is allegedly seeking to implement.

Sigh, the more things change, the more they stay the same.

I think it's because he's a horrible person. I mean, that's the main thing we're learning about him every day. He's just an awful human being.

Is it impossible for a moderate Republican to make ANY traction these days?
Lately, it's all people afraid of ovaries and being forced to gay marry someone.
And, the poors not paying their fair share.

An argument can be made there's one in the White House about to go into a second term...

Darrell D. asks a scientific question:

Is it impossible for a moderate Republican to make ANY traction these days?
    Impossible? No. Highly improbable, absolutely.

Oh well, at least Rand Paul isn't holding the rifle that is pointing at President Obama. That might get him a visit from the Secret Service.

Nah, Midwestern moderate Democrats are quite different than moderate Republicans, although they can actually work together effectively.

like some others, i wasn't paying attention to the bullying thing in his highschool years, but it's the reaction that brought me around.

many people say and actually feel bad for some of the things they have done in their youth, i can think of something that i did in grade school that i desperately wish i could take back. it was wrong and cruel of me and it's stuck with me to this day. even if he truly forgot (which i wouldn't be all that surprised if he did) calling it a prank, after the incident was described to him and backed by 5 others, is one of the issues that some are having problems with. another is the attempts to get his old crew to back his version and downplay it. the non-apology apology.

once again, Romney and his camp have shown that they're not quite ready for prime-time. this could have been put to rest or even better, given him some positives in character if he actually shown some remorse, some insight, some humanity.

jeebus, how long have they've running for president? you would think that experience would show

    on another note...

Worldwide Parody & Satire Industries Collapse
NEW YORK – May 11, 2012 – Roiled by a lengthy Republican primary that featured sickly-wife dumper Newt Gingrich in the role of family values advocate, prissy uterus invader Rick Santorum as a small government champion and multimillionaire vulture capitalist Mitt Romney shedding Armani suits in favor of mom jeans and “work” shirts as he positioned himself as a regular guy (with a car elevator), the global parody and satire industries utterly collapsed Friday.

The market sector had teetered on the verge of collapse this week following an accusation from thrice-married drug addict Rush Limbaugh that President Obama had attacked the institution of marriage by coming out in favor of same-sex unions. But some analyst had thought the sector was positioned for recovery.

Those hopes were dashed early Friday when parody and satire futures were bludgeoned by the publication of an opinion piece by 21-year-old single mom Bristol Palin. The daughter of failed vice-presidential candidate and serial quitter Sarah Palin criticized the president for allowing his daughters to influence marriage equality policy, decried the persecution of conservative Christians and urged the president to direct his children since “dads should lead their family.”

“Parody and satire were already on life support thanks to Rush,” said analyst Seymour Butts of the Under the Bleachers Report. “But when Bristol let loose, even hard-bitten industry veterans who had survived the Nixon and Reagan years threw in the towel.”

Most experts were unable to articulate a scenario under which parody and satire could recover. However, at least one long-term analyst envisioned a resurgence contingent upon a direct asteroid strike on the earth that wipes out all existing life, after which single-cell organisms might once more emerge and evolve to acquire language skills.

Yeah... speaking of the tales of Mitt's "great sense of humor" being that he's actually kind of a horrible ***hole... another story came out about Young Biff Romney. He apparently also led a blind teacher at his boarding school into a closet door, thinking it was also worth quite the guffaw.

On the bright side of for his campaign, this is the first news of Mitt Romney successfully leading anyone anywhere.
