The economy has shown some softness in the last month or so.

It's not heading into recession but it does seem that the expansion is slowing which may mean unemployment stays around current leves or even rises.

i think even a 0.1% increase in the unemployment rate could hurt Obama badly.

Usually things kick back up around summer bussiness wise. But this year My hours are not increasing starting around June, as well as some other folks I know. Already got the word that the summer hours will be no different than the last 4 months. I'm in retail.

That Obama is worthless wifebeating scum and that Americans need to come to their senses and never ever vote for either a non-white or a Democrat again.

I think he'll get re-elected, the biggest thing I had with his chances last year was I didn't think he could motivate his base, while I counted the GOP vote to show up in mass. Now after the primaries it's the Republicans that need to motivate their base. Provided the economy at least holds steady Obama will win IMO if it improves he'll win handily.
