Sounds like Cable's going to assemble a crew of mutants and wipe out the Avengers in some preemptive strike to protect his messi- I mean daughter.

Children's Crusade's ending probably lays the groundwork for this.

Depends on your definition of suck. Loeb and McGuinness writing Cable apparently coming back and going after the Avengers? Really depends on which Loeb shows up for work.

There's no book length, but assuming it's six issues, at least that means he can't go to his usual gimmick, the endless mystery. And the Ultimate book with Art Adams didn't suck. But maybe I'm just trying to be optimistic.

so i'll try to be nice, as excited i am for cable to be brought back, i really wish it wasn't Loeb doing the writing on this. obviously everyone else agrees.
