Korvus Appreciation

I am a big BIG Korvus fan. I think he's hot and has a great look. His sword makes him a perfect FIT for the Starjammers. I don't think he and his sword would fit in on the X-teams. I wonder if he would just go back to join the other jammers and take Hepzibah with him? He could have a big role in the whole Shi'ar revolution story.

I don't agree that he is uninteresting without the Phoenix echo. He is as interesting as Raza or Corsair. I would be interested in knowing how he got so good in combat and is not as crazy as Vulcan, since it seems he was imprisoned and alone for so many years.

I thought he would go with the Starjammers, but its evident that his loyalties lie with his only friends: Rachel, Havok and Polaris. If only Marvel didn't drag out this phoenix thing. Rachel said that his sword only had an echo of the force, but it has to have the power to siphon phoenix energies if it contained a fraction of it before. I mean if it was such a minor power source, why would Jean take power from the sword?

I want to see him interact with the X-men....namely Hope and see if theres a reaction and whether something will happen to Korvus or not. I love it when a sh'iar is on teams with X-men (Like Lilandra and Cerise).

BTW, the sword itself taught Korvus how to fight I believe. I think it downloaded all the previous owner's skills into him....kinda like that book with Orson Randall and Ironfist.

Also, I'd like to know how Gambit is holding Korvus down with his foot in that one Legacy preview. He should've easily been tossed like a ragdoll.

No. If I were Rachel, the last thing I'd be looking is the big phoenix sword. Even the Shiar haircut is hot

I never noticed Korvus was wearing a tool belt in that picture. Wonder what that big shiny tool is in the middle...doesn't look like a hammer to me.

Thanks for clearing up the question with the info, infernohara. That makes sense. Without that sword maybe Korvus is nothing... or maybe he could be anything if it wasn't for the big sword.

I thought that fight in the preview was wacked too. Korvus being a Shi'ar can lift a ton, but I think he went down because his sword is too awesome... instant kill. Havok should have at least pushed Frenzy back with the plasma blast too.

Speaking as one of the few people who has been transported into both the Marvel and DC Universe due to Flashpoint, I have actually met all three in person and Korvus is indeed the most sexually arousing one.
