Its awesome to see Paquette so obviously passionate about the book. Looks good for its future.

    This was a good issue.

You know that feeling when you get a book that really feels like an issue you got your money's worth?

Multiply that feeling by about 2 and that should seem about right. I wish I had bought a bag and board for it.

This was probably my favorite comic this week. The art was just gorgeous. Best I've seen in the relaunch.

Good interview. I'm enjoying Paquette's art. I like that he admits he can't do monthly comic on an ongoing basis and that they are looking for fill-in artists that make sense. I hope they take the Detective Comic approach, with a fill in artist doing a specific portion of the arcs

I really hope they take the fill-ins seriously long-term and don't resort to having Tocchini crap something out in two weeks. The style on 'tec was perfect. Just do that again for longer this time.

They already announced that Francesco Francavilla is doing the fillins. Which I'm personally super stoked about.

Francavilla? That's interesting. He did one hell of a job at 'Tec. Let's see how he tackles the supernatural element

Same here, and I liked how he made a point to think the fill-ins homogenously

(but damn, on another subject, I can't believe he talks like that to Mark Chiarello..)

I've talked to Yanick in person before and I think his tone gets lost a bit because he isn't a native English speaker. He sometimes sounds more blunt than he's actually trying to be.

SOOO glad that Francavilla is doing the fill-in's.

Yanick made a really good point with fill-in artists and how it can often damage the longevity/appeal of a book, i believe that with a long-term collaboration between these two artists the book will still be easily classed as a classic run.

    I'm French-Canadian too and that's exactly it.
