I still don't know how this is going to fit in continuity wise. I'm starting to wonder sometimes if even is in regular mu. BP death and cover with dumb short jen has makes me shake my head. Of course marvel so stupid like that to kill bp and real she-hulk just because event and be in regular mu.

Save DCU from DCNU!
Q.: How can you tell when Dan DiDio is lying?
A.: When you see his lips move.
Seeing as future Tony Stark gave now Tony Stark a device to use against Ultron, as the last resort, my feeling is that, as this device sends stuff into a black hole, that part of the Earth will disappear at the end of this Event. We'll have to wait and see about the what part of the USA is wiped out, but if Tony uses it, there will be a pretty heavy fallout afterwards.
I also think this will be the equivalent to killing Ultron has to the killing of Osama bin Laden, that Marvel could do since May 2011, when the black ops team carried out the mission. Ultron has been a continual threat to the World for a long time, and he would make a reasonable symbol of how the Al Quaida leader is viewed in the USA, if Ultron could be permanently destroyed, as far as we know.

From the snippets that I have read along the way, it appears Ultron is likely to capture the super heroes and keep them in a holding area, because Ultron likes trophies. What we understand as heroes killed, may turn out to be "strung up somewhere".
Just further speculating here, what if when space-time was disrupted in HA Avengers #2, that it never really went back to what it was before Avengers #2? That means Heroic Age went off on a tangent, Wonder Man went ballistic, Fear Itself happened because Red Skull decided to find her fathers diary, and AVX happened because, just because the Space-time thingy was disrupted. So you see, everything since HA Avengers #2 has been as a result of the space-time disruption. Ultron is partof that distortion, and that's why Ultron agreed to being defeated by Kang in Avengers #5, but we are just going to learn about in Age of Ultron when it hits. The MU may be living in a distorted state, and when the Avengers find out, they will take it back to post-Siege and start over?
