Yeah, the formating is all messed up. It would be nice to just have the name or initals of who's typing instead of trying and failing to bold certain passages. It would make it much easier to read, as it is you have to try and infer who's who by personality alone.

This whole thing seems kinda pointless, conisdering Chad read hardly any of Flashpoint (none of the main mini) and hasn't read Justice League #1. All he can do is talk about it in a very meta fashion, which kinda defeats the purpose of what's supposed to be a fresh start. All he can really contribute is "well, seems like people don't like it because the team's not together." Well, yeah, it's the internet, no one like anything.

I can understand why Tim would want to write something with someone else considering how much he's already written about the new DC on his own. It must be nice to be able to bounce those thoughts off someone else for one of these pieces. No offense to Chad, I always enjoy reading his thoughts, but I just don't think he was the right partner for this. I'm sure there's someone out there in the blogosphere who chould have contributed a more informed contribution.

    Cool

I'm happy to say I've turned stodgy.
I didn't buy one FLASHPOINT title. I made a vow with a candle & a Bible in a cave...No More Events. Blackest Night ends my CRISIS Longbox but iDigress...

I sure had fun reading about it here. I read the preview pages of Flashpoint #5 with the Reverse-Flash and it looked pretty good with that Kubert art.

But that was about it. I have a reason to go to the funnybook bodega every month and it's not the DCnU.

I say good luck DC Earth-Zero! I'll actually pick up ACTION COMICS out of sheer Grant. I'm interested in that...not thrilled with Morales' art but heh. Grant does put his artists through Hoops of Fire, eh? For me...this all ends with some forthcoming BATMAN INC and SEAGUY.

I think I would have been more interested in a new Sgt. Rock if they were actually a US Army Ranger patrol somewhere in South Mistunderstandistan (as Rucka so awesomely put in Batwoman). I grew up on Sgt. Rock, Unknown Soldier, Haunted Tank & Weird War Tales. America needs some soldier heroes to look up to. Sure it's jingoistic...I'm frakkin' Jingo Fett!

I won't be getting Green Arrow but I tell you perhaps when Red Hood & the Outlaws are collected, I just might tune in. I'm intrigued on explaining the Robins in the Five Years...but also, I'm not. They're Paper People.

My love of the characters go back to Alex Toth so I verily will miss the Red Trunks. I'm a big fan of the Max Fleisher stuff too...and the RadioShow (Kellog's PEP!!!). I think the red trunks should come back.
As a longtime reader...he actually looks way too much like Earth-3's Ultraman now! That's the first thing I see when I see the new movie stills or the new direction with the comics story.

So...I have a longbox of great calssic DC funnies and hopefully we stodgy aging manfans get a retirement home on Earth-2 with the JSA watching the Legacies bloom...
