I bought: Morning Glories, Ultimate X-Men, and X-23.

Morning Glories is still awesome and while some people are complaining about nothing being explained I'm having fun piecing it together. Ultimat X-Men was good but lord, the pacing needs to improve, I don't feel like enough happens to justify the 3.99 price, I love it but after issue six I might trade wait. X-23 was nice after the last boring arc but it's being canned in 20 issues so I'm still disappointed.

I'm saving X-Men for last, the cover was pretty awesome and although as you've said nothing much really happened in the last few issues I've been totally engrossed in the world being created so I'm excited to read on.

Yeah, I'm excited to read on too but I'm just not sure if floppies are the way to go with the book anymore. I'm giving it til issue six to improve on pacing and keep me reading the singles, but I have a feeling that it'll be more worth it to trade wait.

I think I'm just more of a single issue kind of guy, I think I enjoy anticipating the next part and discussing it after it comes out way too much to wait for the trade.

Well I spent the bulk of my comic reading years never getting books until they weeks after they came out so it's not much of an issue. But like I said, I'm loving the book, I can't wait to see what happens next, and Spencer clearly has plans but issue by issue I'm just not sure I can justify the 4 dollar price. I'll probably keep buying it in singles anyway but I'm just not sure I should.

If it's a strain monetarily I'd probably drop it too, I did while I was at school.
Buying the story issue by issue certainly is more expensive than the trade.

Well it kind of is, but I did run into some money recently (Scholarships FTW, Using it mostly for groceries but more pocket change comes with it) so I don't really have to worry about it too much.

I'm probably going to stick with it, but I'm just not sure if I'm getting my money's worth. I'm sticking with singles to issue 6 at the very least, that way if I do decide to Trade wait I won't miss any issues or have to rebuy issues I already bought.

Yeah, I was really surprised about "Christ Man" getting the boot....

    But seriously it's somewhat worrying.

    Worrying indeed.

I thought the Christ name alone would sell that book.

    lol

I wonder if it's marvel's way of cleaning their line and start using the money for the main books instead of a bunch of spinoffs and mini series for individual characters

It's a shame, Revelations was really well written.

Sure; Matt,John, Luke and Mark were a little dry but it's an anthology series so lulls with different authors were bound to happen.
