He does art on Green Hornet I think.
Really? He can go to hell. It's not hard to be professional...
What has he done exactly?
Nah to tell you the truth I'm not completely innocent on this matter. There was some discussion going on about comic pirate sites and apparently Aaron is responsible for closing down some sites by sending in mail to DC who were all owned by the same guy. That's not what bugged me. What bugged me was how much big of a deal he was doing out of it.
If you look at his Twitter page you'll see how much time he's devoting himself into destroying this guy. It's not like I'm sticking up for him, what the guy did wasn't very nice.
I decided to check up on this pirate guy and liked his fanpage, it has a few followers and 1 of the fans was Aaron and he was personally attacking the pirate and his fans. His posts all said the same thing: "I'm a hero and you should all love me for taking this guy down."
I know this may seem a bit weird but I just couldn't take it anymore. There will always be online piracy but this was just too much, the way he was attacking everyone. It's like Batman killing someone. So I wrote in a simple line, not meaning to personally attack him, but to let him know how far he was going (or you know, a comment made in fury). I said: "Get a life Aaron."
That's when he decided to make me his next target. All sorts of names followed, personal attacks and general self-idolism.
Is this all my fault? Am I the douchebag while he's the hero?

He's a professional in the comics industry he has no excuse for not acting in a professional manner. He has every right to try and get the pirate shut down if he feels it's a serious issue. Him proclaiming himself as a hero and generally mocking everyone on the site is just dickish.
Another fruitful Free Comic book day.
I wasn't able to attend due to work, but I'll get a few free comics with the order I made from TFAW, they had a really great sale so I picked up the Screw on Head hardcover and a horror GN called the Fog.
Was there anything really worth getting? From what I saw previewed the only titles that really looked good were the Superman family issue and Atomic Robo.
The Dark Horse flip books were fun. Serenity/Star Wars was neat but both featured pretty much the exact same plot which I assume was intentional. Buffy/The Guild was cool, Buffy was pretty much "Alien" and the Guild made me want to actually watch the show.
Adventure Time/Peanuts was fun as well. Makes me want to get into the cartoon a bit to be honest.
But honestly most of the awesomenes came from the fact that the Shop makes an event of it every year. Hundreds of people were there, they held it in a red centre gym. They were also giving away trades they had a hard time selling and a lot of regulr comics they ordered too many of. Tried a couple of DCnU books like Stormwatch and Resurection Man. Got trades/HCs of: Wolverine First Class, Runaways, Dark Tower, Excalibur, and Avengers.
The sales and the atmosphere in the shop are usually the high points of the day so it sounds like you made out well.
What were the flip books like?
Serenity/Star Wars: Like I said, they both had similar concepts. Someone trying to Take the Falcom away from Han, and someone trying to take Serenity from Mal. Zack Whedon did a serviceable job with the Serenity crew but I think his Han/Chewie was off. Art was okay but not great. The Serenity story ended with Rover riding a horse in a cargo hold. That was neat.
Buffy/The Guild: Not much to say about Buffy. She played Ellen Ripley, it's what you'd expect. Can't comment much on the Guild other than the fact that it made me curious of the web program.
Adventure Time/Peanuts: Adventure Time was pretty darn funny, have not watched much of the show but it's Definitely written by Ryan North. Makes me want to check out the issues of the book I missed. Peanuts was a mixture of new Material and coloured repints of old material. Can't say I was fond of it. I prefer Peanuts Black and White while retaining the strip format.
Sounds fun, I wonder what books I'll get, they said it was a random draw but I hope with both my purchases being Darkhorse books I'll get the Dark Horse ones.
Aye they were. Hopefully you get a nice medley.
Watching "The Guild" now. Pretty neat actually.
I've never heard of it, what's it like?
It's about a group of MMO players. It's mostly them at their computers communicating with Microphones. Pretty darn fun. Created and starring Felicia Day.
Ah, I've heard of that now that I think of it, she was in Dr.Horrible
