I'm not a troll, man. It's on Didio's Facebook page.
Or that someone else did and you inadvertently thought it was actually Didio. Since this relaunch was announced the Internet has been filled with rumors and "facts" just created by fans; don't get so bent out of shape just because people don't automatically believe everything everyone online says to be true without a second thought.

I think the fact that I posted the questions separatedly from the answers pretty much indicates that I saw them as sepparated things, meaning that I didn't just copied them, I was the one actually asking the questions.

I didn't said immediatly it was on Didio's facebook because people who aren't friends with him won't be able to see it. So I simply posted what's written there.

But no point in discussing this. To be honest I was actually more upset with the guy that asked that before you, simply commanding me to give him a source, and you took the heat. Sorry about that.

Wait, Kord Industries was mentioned in an early issue of one of the New 52 (I think O.M.A.C., maybe?), I'm almost 100% positive. So...did Ted Kord never EXIST in DCnU, or did he just never become the Blue Beetle?

Yes it is OMAC, HE did become the blue beetle, but he never used the scarab once.

In OMAC #6 Theodore Kord appears on a list of names involved in the creation of Brother Eye, and a person appears wearing a Kord Industries uniform. However, I am not aware of Ted Kord himself appearing on panel.

Since this thread started, for people following it now, it's been confirmed that Ted Kord!Beetle and Vic Sage!Question are definately in Multiversity next year. Which'll be nice. :p

And, of course, there's a Sagealike Question running through the backstory of Trinity War right now.

If it were up to me, Prime Earth would keep Jaime as the only current Blue Beetle and Montoya (So, appearing as a cop in the Gotham Police Department is she, Didio? Oh really?) as the current Question - but I see no reason why Ted Kord can't still be alive and knocking about the place.

I'd suggest that, given that Booster Gold is implied to be continueing his timeline jumping, that he could meet the Ted of Multiversity and Earth 4 - but that's unlikely to be the "Bwah Hah Hah" Beetle of repute.

Just makes me wonder without Ted's death what forges Booster Gold to become the man he does? It's a bit like removing uncle ben's death from Peter Parker.

Why not? It would be really interesting if the Kord of Earth-1 was just some scientist who died and the true one befriended Booster from another Earth. Kinda like Huntress and Powergirl.

I'm not even a fan of Blue Beetle in any incarnation, but I would have thought having Ted in some sort of mentor role to the new BB would have been a no brainer. Keeping him around in some capacity for his fans at least.
Life looks better in black and white.

It's not really complicated, he lesnts Jaime's secret and becomes some sort of mentor/benefactor, and the same with Booster. I think it woul eventually lead to him teaming up with Booster.

This, Jaime doesn't really need the legacy aspect (and barely ever had it to begin with), but for Booster it removes a good chunk of his character development.
