New Lanterns! Which book will you get AND is it still worth to get the old books?

I'll be buying the main two, Green Lantern and Green Lantern Corpse. I'll have to hear good things about the other two if I'm gonna go back and grab them.

Yes! You should definitely check out older Green Lantern stuff. You probably won't need it to understand the new stories, but they're really good stuff. I'd say Sectret Origin, Sinestro Corps and Blackest Night.

All the new stuff is just building on the old stuff. Hopefully in a way that is new reader friendly and doesn't REQUIRE knowledge of the old stuff, but reading that older stuff with undoubtedly help.

For instance, the first issue of the New Green Lantern series starts with Sinestro as a Green Lantern, and Hal Jordan without a ring. If you want to find out who Sinestro is, who Hal Jordan is...picking up all that old stuff will tell you that, and how they got to where they are.

So yeah, pick it up if you're interested and you've got the cash, but don't let it be prohibitive to picking up the new books if you don't. Theys hould be designed in such a way as to be accessible to you.

I just bought blackest night tp. havent finished it yet but looks good. also, im getting green lantern and green lantern: new guardians. love the whole concept.
