    Oh man, and I removed the book from my pull list thinking that Finch was going to keep on writing!
    I really like Jenkins so I guess I'll have to get it back then.... but which book is getting the ax now? Perhaps Tec since Daniel is not that great?

    I think everyone knows 'Tec will never get axed. Daniel might not, but the book will survive.

    Indeed. Detective Comics is/was the flagship title and where "DC" gets its name.

    EDIT
    I think they havok meant axed from his/her pull list.
    Oh. Yeah. ::self-facepalm::

    Apologies to his fans, but Jenkins is one of my least favorite writers. Good news (For me) is that this narrows down what books I might be getting. I hope others enjoy

    "I actually wrote more issues of "Hellblazer" than anybody" -> False statement. That must be Garth Ennis.

    In fairness, it's really close. http://www.insanerantings.com/hell/c...ing/index.html

    Garth Ennis (#41-83)
    Paul Jenkins (#89-128)

    So, 42 to 39 for Ennis. And Delano apparently had 40. Still, Jenkins is up there.

    EDIT:

    Also, apparently Mike Carey has 40 issues.

    Well, Finch was doing the title absolutely no favors writing it, so I'll give it another few with Jenkins writing rather than dropping it as planned. He can only make it better, I figure, it couldn't get much worse.

    I love Jenkins, but I really wanted Dave to do this book. Doesn't even look like he's drawing the next few.

    Of course, it's no big deal, but still, I think it's a bit wrong to self-congratulate for something you haven't actually achieved. But again, this is not a pissing contest. Actually, I really like what I've read of Jenkins' Hellblazer.
