Hurrah for Alpha Flight! I was pretty pessimistic about it getting upgraded, based on something Brevoort posted on Formspring, but I'm thrilled for the change to an ongoing.

I've lost count on how many times Marvel has tried to bring back Alpha Flight, in one form or another.
How many issues are people predicting this latest version lasts for?!?
Comics still reading: Saga, Sixth Gun, Walking Dead, All New X-Men, Daredevil, Fury MAX. DC New 52 isn't the worth the paper its printed on...

It's had 3, with an Omega Flight mini. Seriously, Iron Man and Captain America have been rebooted more.

And the first and second relaunches were crippled right from the start by unknown casts. This is the first relaunch with the real Alpha Flight members.
Having said that, this relaunch is crippled right from the start by a lousy market. I don't see the series lasting past two years, but that's not because of Alpha Flight but because almost any new series these days doesn't last long...
