Default CBR: The CW Turns on "Deadman"

"Supernatural" creator Eric Kripke is set to bring DC Comics' "Deadman" to the CW. While his origins make him an unlikely TV star, deceased Trapeze artist Boston Brand may soon help out the living in a weekly drama.

So he is going to be a hot teenager that is trying to get back to his girlfriend and help her not get into trouble or some crap like that, right?

Wow, Deadman getting a TV Show is unexpected by welcome.

Though really, if Wonder Woman couldn't get a show and Boston does I'll be a little bit POed.

I hope so, preferably a hot teenager, that speaks with a slight british accent, then with a hot girlfriend that looks like blake lively

A little bit off topic but I'm I the only one who later on in the comics got a vibe that Deadman was actually an old man?

    Or is it just me?

Once the origins-related story told, I don't see so much other things to be set, and the show lasting very long..but I'm hope I'm wrong.

I love the character, I won't suffer any crap..

Oh, I'm not arguing about that.

Just asking if anyone else got that feeling with him.

I always thought of "Quantum Leap" as a re-skinned "Deadman" series.
I hope they think that too!

Deadman definitely has been getting a big push by DC.

I always liked Deadman but I hope the first season's major story arc isn't about him finding out who murdered him.

How will they do the costume?

They can stick true to the core concept of Deadman and not HAVE to use the costume. The core story is basically a dead man possessing the bodies of people in need of help and helping them overcome their problems. And if they want to add the occasional plot point of his trying to solve the mystery of his own death, so be it.

This could be interesting. Not everything on CW is teen angst and hot teens.

Although to confess... I like the hot teens angle.

So basically it could be like a modern day Quantum Leap
    I can live with that

This being by the same people who do Supernatural gives it hope.
