    Returning Shows I'll Be Watching:
    Two and a Half Men*
    The Big Bang Theory
    Blue Bloods
    Family Guy

    * I can't imagine this show being half as good without Charlie Sheen, but I imagine I'll watch at least the season premiere, especially since Leonard and Sheldon from TBBT may cameo since there are rumored to be appearances by other Chuck Lorre characters.

    New Shows I'll Try Out:

    The Playboy Club
    Terra Nova
    Unforgettable
Person of Interest (If this is the one I'm thinking of. Will have to double check.)
    Pan Am

Person Of Interest is the first of two JJ Abrams shows. This one has Michael Emerson. I forgot to make it bold but I do want to watch Unforgettable as well. I also want to watch Pan Am. It looks amazing. Playboy club not as much.

Just checked, and I was mistaken. I was thinking of A Gifted Man with Patrick Wilson and got my titles mixed up. I'm not a fan of Abrams, so I'll skip Person of Interest.

The Playboy Club I'll just be superficially checking out for the T&A factor. But I'm also a sucker for period pieces, too.

I hadn't even heard anything about Gifted Man. I liked Wilson in Watchman and Hard Candy but I can't bring my self to care about House Meets Everwood. Person Of Interest is probably gonna suck but I'm gonna give it a shot. Alcatraz is what I am looking forward to.

I'm gonna be watching the New Girl as well. I love Zooey Deschanel. Her sister not so much.

I'll be checking out Pan Am as I'm a sucker for shows/films based in the 60's.

It's nice to see Gellar back as the last time I saw her was Buffy, which seems like forever. I hope the show's good.

So The New Girl is now on Hulu like 7 days early. Watching it now. Edit review time. So I expected her to hook up with Deputy Leo from V-Mars just because he was the one guy I recognised in the trailer but now it looks like she is going to be hooking up with bartender guy. He's not unattractive and he seems like the most likely candidate for her. Also, all groups of friends should have the douchebag jar

I may turn on 2 and a Half Men out of curiosity since they dumped Charlie (which I told you guys was a done deal while everyone was saying he'd still come back). Kutcher lends a completely different spin to it.

Terra Nova gets my attention and a shot.

Body of Proof is a maybe.

Suburgatory could either be fun or make me want to murder the nearest smart-ass teenager, who knows. It gets a watch.

2 Broke Girls is on the borderline. I find Denning equally as watchable as annoying.

Grimm is a must see for me.

And Pan Am rounds out my list for pure curiosity.

I just read the description for Grimm. Supposedly it's a police procedural based on Grimm's Fairy Tales. The main character sees suspects as animals. Are these hallucinations or is this meant to take place in a supernatural setting?

I don't know if any of that is important to know before turning on the first show and figuring out what kind of perspective they're going for. It could turn out to be the absolute worst idea since Cop Rock.

For me, it's two different genres. If he's just imagining this stuff, then it's not really a fantasy/sci-fi show which is what I'm interested in.

There are a handful of new fall shows that I am quite interested in checking out:

    Homeland (Showtime)
    Boss (Starz)
    Hell on Wheels (AMC)
    American Horror Story (FX)
    Person of Interest (CBS)
    Terra Nova (FOX)

Plus I'm likely to check out an ep or two of 2 Broke Girls, just to leer at Kat Dennings for a bit.

I'm torn on Grimm. It could turn out to be entertaining, but could also end up being stupid-terrible like the similarly-themed Demons on BBC.

Well, if it's important to you to know for sure before you even turn it on, OK.

Me, not so much. I'll turn it on. I'll find out. I'll decide whether to watch it any further.

It's a good system for me, really.
