Anyone saw Roddy Piper in "celebrity ghost stories" ? Roddy talked a bit about his entrance into wrestling and his friendship with Adrian Adonis and how he saw Adonis ghost after Adonis died in a car accident and believes that Adonis was looking out for him and his family , Roddy was getting emotional towards the end talking about Adrian. A pretty interesting account , the segment lasted about 15 minutes or so.

Piper was a coke-head, and was likely doing other forms of drugs, as well. The likely explanation to seeing Adonis's ghost is Piper was on hallucinogens at the time.

Jack Danielson, better known to professional wrestling fans as Blackjack Daniels during his most-notable tenures in the AWA and the Mid-West region passed away aged 83.

The original World Wide Wrestling Federation (now WWE) Championship that Buddy Rogers dropped to Bruno Sammartino in 1963 has been recently discovered in the attic of wrestler Johnny Barend, this according to a report from Slam! Wrestling who note that Barend’s widow was going through stuff in their house and found two wrestling belts (the original WWWF Championship and a US Tag Team Championship) wrapped in a towel, with the World Championship featuring a picture of Barend in the center.

Barend’s wife had no idea about the belts and have them confirmed by popular belt-maker Dave Millican that it was the original WWWF Championship. The report notes that Bruno Sammartino was unaware as to what happened to the original belt, other than the fact that the WWWF office were not a fan of it and made him a new one to wear during his run as Champion. The belts are now in the possession of Dave Millican at present time.
