Watching a lot of old WWE/WCW/NWA videos, they all mention how important Dusty was behind the scenes to the improvement of the sport.

I think we're almost discussing 3 different eras though.

There was the old school era, then the "New Generation" era which was basically post Hogan, then the Attitude era (which probably began with the rise of Austin 3:16).

As a kid, I liked Demolition. The costumes and entrance music really make them fun. As an adult looking back on them though, they obviously weren't the greatest tag team in the world.

My favorite old school team might be the British Bulldogs.
