This looks amazing. About the best thing I think I've seen so far and there's a lot of good art coming from the Bat books. I hope the quality of Daniel's work is there, but art wise, I don't think anyone is doing it better.

I agree, I mean Capullo does a great job but the inks really are just WOW, they completely make the page. I said it in another thread, I wish DC put this one out in black & white. You can appreciate the inks a lot better this way.

I think they are kinda self-explanatory, just added in panels to add realism to the damage. Show you physically what Kate is doing to them. I don't think they have any added in-story meaning or anything.
