Maxine herself hasn't confirmed it. And I don't think the E has either.

Another great female heel gone. In the beginning I didn't think much of her, but she has improved immensely.

Honestly, no. Gail Kim isn't that good. It's her KO rep that has made people believe she's awesome. She's some good matches, but beyond that, she's not phenomenal. There's an Indy wrestler that has a very similar style (even the same finisher), and hasn't stuck out very much either. That person is Santana Garrett. I think that would have been Gail's fate if she stayed in the indies.

That's one of the side effects of crappy products. When someone shows a hint of greatness, they are lauded for more than they should be.
