Ive been thinking about this today.

If WWE wanted divas to be taken seriously, then one way to do it might be by letting people like Eve show off real training and talent. Eve has MMA training and has trianed in dojos for a long time, and if built properly could be a legitimate womens wrestler by incorporating MMA and making her seem more dangerious instead of just beign a pretty face. Just a thought.

I'm all for that idea BUT (sorry) ...

Isn't she one of the many botchers in the Diva Division? Or was it Gail, Melina, Maryse, K2, Beth, and the Bellas who botched their spots recently with her?

As for Eve, there are female wrestlers that already use MMA in their movesets. In Joshi, there's Mariko Yoshida, Kana, Syuri, and others who do it. In Europe, there's Jenny Sjodin over at Pro Wrestling EVE, among others.

It's not impossible at all. In fact, since Daniel Bryan is doing something similar, I'm surprised she hasn't attempted it.

She's not Rosa Mendes, but yeah, she's one of the more inconsistent ones.

I love women's wrestling, but I never really found a place for Joshi--it always seemed either to violent/unsafe and or too unrealistic for the same reason I don't like lucha libra style...

Meanwhile, my favorite women's wrestling league, Wresltlicious has released it's first teaser photo for Season 2!

Looks like Rain, Lacey, April Hunter are all back, among others...now that they've signed with MTV2, we'll see how their ratings stack up...

It took Sean Waltman many years to finally do something to make people remember him for something other than his hardcore match with her or "X-pac Sucks!".

The fact that Eve does some MMA training doesn't necessarily mean she's any good. I mean, Joe Rogan supposedly trains to, but he hasn't shown jack. It does look like Eve has some gymnastics background, and she does those moves fairly well. As does Kelly, actually. Hell, she can do a springboard armdrag takeover that I'd be afraid to try.

Maryse actually has a blackbelt in something, and back on smackdown, she had some nice kicks in her moveset. But she hasn't done much since. You know the Divas division is sad when they made a big deal about her being the first to climb a ladder...and that's it. All she did was climb a ladder. For cryin' out loud, even Michael Cole or J.R. could have managed to do that.

I liked Rima on Tough Enough. Any word on what she's up to?
