dug the trios match, i'm a pretty big fan of TRT these days, especially terrible

that was 1 of many. check this vid out, it's amazing the way felino was moving at his age. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=btzOkjEWL3g&feature=fvst
I think you're right, it probably was Fantasma. I haven't seen enough of him to have much of an opinion, other than that he's a member of the UnderArmour club for luchadors.

TRT is growing on me. I wish they were doing two-hour shows, Averno and La Mascara have disappeared lately in favor of Garza and TRT.

I'll check out that Felino one - I watched top tens of La Sombra, Mr. Niebla (who is pretty awesome), and really old Blue Panther clips.

"The Hitman" accepts the award on behalf of himself and the late, great British wrestling Legend Davey "Boy" Smith for their historic match at Wembley Stadium in 1992. Presented by BWC Sacrlo Scholarship winner Gil Elkin (Axle Rage) at the Birmingham NEC as part of Memorabillia weekend and in association with the Daily Star newspaper, this induction massively validates Britain's own Wrestling Hall of Fame.

Mr. Backlund continued wrestling under the new gimmick of an out of touch, yet highly dangerous, maniac out to teach the new generation a lesson.[3] He often appeared in business suits, had a hyperactive personality, and used (or, often, misused) large words to sound important. He also demanded that he be addressed as "Mr. Backlund". He would only sign autographs for wrestling fans if they could recite the names of all of the US Presidents in chronological order

I did watch it, no full review this time though.

It was pretty great, although the matches seemed really short. They cut out a lot of the "production" stuff - no entrances, no chicas, just seven (!) matches in an hour.

Ephesto was great, I came away really impressed with La Sombra as well.

I guess that was Block A, so I assume next week is going to be Block B (whatever that might be).

it was quite good, just quick and to the point matches.

anybody watch CMLL this afternoon?? i taped it but haven't watched yet.

You've got Tanahashi, Ultimo Guerrero, and Averno to look forward to.

Anyone familiar with wrestling around Monterray? A local mid-carder was part of an attack on a casino that left 52 dead.

This week's CMLL was good - three Averno matches! All of the tournament matches were kind of rushed until the final of Ultimo Guerrero vs. Averno, but they had a good match that wasn't rushed at all.

Does anyone know if that's it for the tournament (I assume that Averno will have to face La Sombra), or if there are even more blocks?

This week's CMLL ended up being the final from the Universal tournament - La Sombra vs. Averno, 2/3 falls. For the entire show. Really, really good match. La Sombra's got some moves that are insane - but definitely track down this match. It's worth your time, I guarantee it.

The commercial to show ratio is insane on CMLL. I record everything and watch like half an hour later so I can zoom through the ads, but I call it Kelly Kelly-ing it.
