Think non-hetero wrestlers can't be booked and utilized legitimately?
Think Big Japan (or even CZW) is all about deathmatches?
Well, hopefully this match will prove you wrong.
Seriously, more people should be paying attention to Big Japan.

i actually kind of like this, not because i think okada is going to be a great champion or anything but sometimes you have to do this kind of thing to keep the fans honest, and i like the situations it creates(what happens to the pecking order in chaos for instance??).
i loved that, it worked especially well considering the guys involved.
is mashimo working regularly in BJW now??
Mr. Backlund continued wrestling under the new gimmick of an out of touch, yet highly dangerous, maniac out to teach the new generation a lesson.[3] He often appeared in business suits, had a hyperactive personality, and used (or, often, misused) large words to sound important. He also demanded that he be addressed as "Mr. Backlund". He would only sign autographs for wrestling fans if they could recite the names of all of the US Presidents in chronological order
That was a great finish, especially since it was a really good match where both guys completely unloaded on each other. It makes a lot of sense that one of them would get desperate, but I figured it was going to be Ultimo Guerrero!
I hope they have another match soon, obviously they can have a good match, but that match also demands a rematch.

Tonight's CMLL was really good. It must've started early - the opening relampago match with Puma King was already in progress (and they were going full tilt). The women's six-man was great, I'm really getting into Estrellita and Amanpola's feud. And of course, the main event six-man (Negra Casas/Felino/Mr. Niebla vs. Blue Panther/Mascara Dorada/Guerrero Maya Jr.) was good. Again, great rudo ending - Casas was actually happy that he got to foul Blue Panther!
And two thumbs up for the brief video of Prince Devitt - can't wait to see his matches!

Israeli wrestling!
An interesting note from CMLL: Averno finally lost his last remaining title over the weekend, the Trios titles. Luchablog noted that Averno doesn't have much scheduled over the next month, either. Could be a coincidence, but he doesn't really have any more obligations in Mexico at the moment.

Sorry i haven't been posting the international stuff cribbed from observer btw guys, my issues are
1. I don't know which are big shows and which are small
2. I don't know what you actually care about.
3. I don't know if you would be interested in the news, because when i read about it i don't know who any of them are, and i don't know if you've seen it yet.
And theres always a lot of stuff, so....
Nothing's gonna happen without a warning
