wow you got me completely wrong there. 1)i never said i don't like bono 2)i'm not a brianson fan/worshiper.
i'm not a KAMIKAZE fan, i kind of like how he does the ab stretch from anywhere though.
i buy Z1 dvds here http://new.ivpvideos2.com/
Mr. Backlund continued wrestling under the new gimmick of an out of touch, yet highly dangerous, maniac out to teach the new generation a lesson.[3] He often appeared in business suits, had a hyperactive personality, and used (or, often, misused) large words to sound important. He also demanded that he be addressed as "Mr. Backlund". He would only sign autographs for wrestling fans if they could recite the names of all of the US Presidents in chronological order

REVIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEW TIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIMEEE!!!!
NJPW, 8/15/10 G1 CLIMAX FINAL
1. G1 Climax - Block B: Yujiro Takahashi vs. Yuji Nagata very good. yujiro's best showing of the tourney that i saw. these are the type of matches i really love about the G1.
2. G1 Climax - Block B: Shinsuke Nakamura vs.. Go Shiozaki awesome. not a big fan of GO but this was awesome. kept me on the edge of my seat.
3. G1 Climax - Block B: Satoshi Kojima vs. Hirooki Goto good. i know under different circumstance they could do better but for what it was nice work.
4. G1 Climax - Block A: Toru Yano vs. Prince Devitt WAAAAAAAAAAY better than any yano match has the right to be. devitt is just fukn great.
5. G1 Climax - Block A: Tetsuya Naito vs. Manabu Nakanishi didn't care for this much. naito is good but nakanishi is ugh.
6. G1 Climax - Block A: Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Togi Makabe very good. makabe gets in more offense than i'd care to see but still a good match.
7. Special Tag Match: Giant Bernard & Karl Anderson vs. Strong Man & Wataru Inouegood. bad intentions was a damn fine team and strong man can be good in these types of matches playing his role.
8. G1 Climax Special Six Man Tag Match: Genichiro Tenryu, Toshiaki Kawada & Tiger Mask vs. Riki Choshu, Super Strong Machine & AKIRA very skipable. seemed odd seeing kawada in NJPW.
9. G1 Climax - Final: Satoshi Kojima vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi AWESOME. i marked really hard as i had actually forgot who won, it was glorious. finish was off just a tad unfortunately but still the match was awesome. tanahashi can seemingly do no wrong and kojima lives or dies by that arm, which is hopefully donated to science after he passes.
overall fantastic buy for $6.

CMLL 04/28/12
Valiente vs. Namajugue - relampago match - I thought it was okay - Valiente did two of the same dive, but it made him look crazy and like he'd do anything to win the match. Anyways, decent action, and I liked the submission finisher.
Rey Escorpion/Polvora/Niebla Roja vs. Black Warrior/Fuego/Stuka Jr. - kind of underwhelming. The only guy that I really like out of all of them is Rey Escorpion, and that's because he's sort of an Averno-in-training (although more chickenshiz than cocky/aggressive). He did kiss Black Warrior's boot to keep him from attacking him, so there was that. I don't know why Black Warrior keeps popping up lately, he's not great. He even ditched his chef pants, which is very disappointing.
La Mascara/Maximo/Rush vs. Rey Bucanero/Terrible/Euforia - Rush and Terrible continue on their path to mutual destruction, which is pretty awesome. I like that they they actual wrestle like they can't stand each other, which is something that doesn't always happen in lucha. Lotsa Maximo antics, the best piece of which was when Rey Bucanero hid behind a woman so that Maximo couldn't kiss him again. But this one was pretty much just to get Rush and Terrible in the ring together again.
i was wondering what that guys name was, i'd been calling him chivo diablo
1st time seeing niebla roja, seemed ok. agreed though nothing special about the match.Rey Escorpion/Polvora/Niebla Roja vs. Black Warrior/Fuego/Stuka Jr. - kind of underwhelming. 4sho and that's what i wanted. roosh and terrible are 2 of my favorites in CMLL.La Mascara/Maximo/Rush vs. Rey Bucanero/Terrible/Euforia - Rush and Terrible continue on their path to mutual destruction, which is pretty awesome. I like your name better - I can pronounce that. I like his outfit, even if it kind of looks like he made it from furry car seat covers.
I'd never seen him before either. Other than a pretty sharp outfit, I don't remember much about him.
I'm digging Rush and Terrible right now. They've had a fun month or so (ever since that tournament).
Completely forgot that Tajiri's "new" promotion (WNC, the third resurrection of HUSTLE's old brand, after SMASH ended) had their first show last Friday.
Some weird things happening over there. Ohara calling out Gedo and "Rainmaker" Okada being one of them.
EDIT: Oh... Okay then, Ohara called out Okada, got Gedo, and lost to him.
Gedo is Okada's manager. "Spokesman", if you will. A lost art being perfected in Japan, really.
EDIT2: Oh... even more info. Okada and Ohara are old friends, and both were trainees of Ultimo Dragon... Oh, the different directions careers go.
