I doubt it because last I read TNA burned that bridge with NJPW (or vice versa). Could have changed, I don't really know the answer anymore.

Personally, I think Angle is beginning the twilight of his career so if he wanted to make another world tour ... now is the time.

Given the way that TNA handled NJPW talent during their relationship, namely putting Hiroshi Tanahashi in a low card tag team with Voldaor Jr and then doing nothing with either with them, I wouldn't be surprised if it was New Japan that ended the relationship.

Although, in all fairness to TNA, they did give both promotions access to their top talent, like Kurt Angle winning the IWGP title, and only today it was announced Sting would compete at AAA's next big show.

But when those promotions are given access to top talent, they use that talent appropriately. The same can't be said for TNA.

Mainly, I didn't want to overhype it and have people be underwhelmed. But it was really good. I'd only seen Panther in six-man tags before, and I'm not sure I'd ever seen Felino before. Quality stuff, though!

NJPW February 14th 2010 (2 Discs)

1. Jushin Liger/Tiger Mask/Koji Kanemoto-vs- Kota Ibushi/GENTARO/Fujita Jr. Hayato.
good stuff. team NJPW veteran trueborn vs team japanese indy. man i love jr hayato. just so firey and totally believes he's a complete badass. he & kanemoto are made for each other. eveyone plays their role well. i think most already know about ibushi, so i'll just say GENTARO is very underrated.

2. Ryusuke Taguchi/Prince Devitt -vs- Dick Togo/Gedo. good. dick togo is still awesome. to be honest though this match mostly makes me want to see dick vs devitt

3. Giant Bernard/Karl Anderson -vs- Riki Choshu/Wataru Inoue. wasn't into it much, not really bad though. i'm sure fans of choshu could appreciate it more than i.

4. Togi Makabe/Tomoaki Honma -vs- Takashi Iizuka/Tomohiro Ishii.
wild brawling stuff which i''m kind of bored from iizuka. decent once in the ring though. i'd like to see honma do more in NJPW.

5. Yuji Nagata -vs- Yoshihiro Tajiri. fun. BLUE MIST!!!!

6. Yujiro/Tetsuya Naito -vs- El Texano Jr/Terrible. very good. 2 great teams just going for it

7. Masato Tanaka -vs- Hirooki Goto AWESOME. considering it's a hardcore match and the 2 guys in it the finish is perfect. can't wait to see them do it again.

8. Hiroshi Tanahashi -vs- Toru Yano. WAAAAAAY better than i xpect from a yano match and just plain good in it's own right. DO NOT FUCK WITH THE HAIR!!!!

9. Shinsuke Nakamura -vs- Manabu Nakanishi. just about the same deal as the match before.

overall a decent buy at $6, tanaka/goto might be the only must see match on the card but this is a really good xample(considering their opponents) of why tanahashi & nakamura are 2 of the best guys going right now.

CMLL was only one hour this week.

Hijo del Fantasma vs. Misterioso Jr. match relampago - I liked the fact that Misterioso came out wearing what appears to be a full yak pelt, horns included. Not a bad match, not a great match.

Hector Garza/Shocker/La Sombra vs. TRT (El Terrible/Rey Bucanero/Texano Jr.) - I was excited to see La Sombra wrestle, but aside from one awesome dive (a front flip over the top rope into a handstand on the ring apron into a rana on his opponent), this match wasn't really about him. Instead, Hector Garza decided to be all awesome this week, showing a lot of athleticism and energy. Where the hell was that last week? Shocker made up for by moving about as well as Kevin Nash, and still being in terrible shape. He might want to take some time off, as he's either not recovered from that knee injury or this is it from here on out. Technicos get the match on a reversed decision - and Garza seemed to have some choice words for Bucanero post-match.

That old costume is fantastic! But now I'm probably going to blow the rest of the night watching more of those "10 Best Moves" videos. Next up, Mr. Niebla...

actually i think that was hijo del fantasma who did that in the match before. hijo del fantasma seems to be hit or miss. sometimes he really impresses me other times i'm very underwhelmed.
