So far, most of the King of Trios line ups have been regulars. Spectral Envoy, Batiri, FIST, Throwbacks...

However, two twist line ups have shown up.

    First...

Team JWP. This wasn't THAT much of a surprise since Joshis have been showing up this season a lot. However, this is a great line up. Tsubasa's one of the if not the strongest woman in wrestling (and a dang good wrestler to boot), Bolshoi is a great veteran high-flyer/submissionist (much like Quackenbush), and Yone-hontas as I like to call her is another fantastic veteran wrestler.

However, THIS line up is the one people are really excited for.

Team Douc... I mean, Team ROH. And what a line up it is. Get ready for some major douchebaggery.

    http://www.ewrestlingnews.com/news/7...cial-statement

Ring of Honor posted the following statement on their Facebook page about Kenny King. The promotion noted that as previously reported, King verbally agreed to an extension of his contract. The deal would allow him to negotiate with, but not wrestle for, another organization without ROH's permission. The statement also states that when ROH was informed of his intent to wrestle on Impact that they said it would violate his agreement, which he said he felt wasn't fair and he would not honor. They added they won't be doing business with King going forward. The full statement is below:

The appearance of ROH wrestler Kenny King on another television wrestling program tonight has raised speculation on his future as well as how this appearance could occur.

The contract Kenny King signed in June 2011 expired 11 days ago. Before that expiration, an agreement was reached between Kenny and ROH management for an extension of that contract, with a provision to allow him to negotiate with any other promotions so that he could evaluate his options and any potential interest in him elsewhere. When that short extension concluded he would then be free to accept an offer elsewhere, or sign another long term contract with ROH. Under this agreement, Kenny was free to negotiate but not to wrestle for another organization without ROH's permission.

When Kenny was presented with the written extension reflecting this verbal and handshake agreement, he informed ROH he was unsure if other promotions would accept the negotiation clause. He was told he could take the document to be examined by his attorney or other interested parties before executing it to be reassured any other offers would not be viewed as contract tampering. He also informed ROH that he would keep us apprised of any developments.

He contacted ROH on Tuesday July 3 to inform us that he had a meeting in Orlando on Thursday, July 5, which was within the scope of the agreement he had made. Then, early morning on July 5, he contacted an ROH official to say he would be wrestling on the Orlando event that night. He was told he did not have permission to appear live on television as it violated the agreement that had been made. His response was that the deal he had shaken hands on and agreed to in principle "seemed fair at the time", but "others" had told him it was not, so he did not intend to honor it.

Ring of Honor is disappointed that Kenny has chosen to make this decision, after the company had agreed to and followed through on everything he had asked for at the time of our negotiation. However, we consider this breach of his verbal agreement unacceptable, and regardless of his future employment status with any other wrestling company, ROH will not be doing business with Kenny King going forward.

A statement from ROH will be forthcoming regarding the future of the ROH World Tag Team Championship. Co-holder Rhett Titus remains on the active ROH roster.

Kenny King = Mike Awesome, on a lesser scale, both in height, weight, and value stolen.
You just have to be cool about it...

Good God, that group makes perfect sense. Like it slaps you in the face and says "Hey why didn't anyone think of this before."

i'm just being selfish, i rarely watch RoH and i'd like to see him in other places he can't work because of RoH.

Mr. Backlund continued wrestling under the new gimmick of an out of touch, yet highly dangerous, maniac out to teach the new generation a lesson.[3] He often appeared in business suits, had a hyperactive personality, and used (or, often, misused) large words to sound important. He also demanded that he be addressed as "Mr. Backlund". He would only sign autographs for wrestling fans if they could recite the names of all of the US Presidents in chronological order

Johnny Gargano's Dragon Gate USA contract is set to expire this month. Gargano's contract ran two years and will expire just before the company's next shows, which are July 27th and 28th in Michigan and Chicago, respectively. Sources say that Gargano has been offered a new contract but hasn't yet signed it. His next title defense is the July 27th show, against Akira Tozawa. DGUSA had to comment on Gargano's status when asked for comment.

-- YAMATO will return for DG:USA's July 27th and July 28th shows in Detroit and Chicago. He'll face Ricochet in Detroit and Jon Davis in Chicago.

-- The next set of EVOLVE shows are in the process of being worked out. The dates and locations won't be announced until after the July 20th debut of SHINE, a sister promotion for DGUSA, EVOLVE and SHIMMER.

It was reported earlier today that Johnny Gargano may be leaving Dragon Gate USA.

It now appears that he may be leaving DGUSA to join the WWE. Gargano wrestled a tryout match for the company earlier this year and WWE wants to sign him to a developmental deal.

He is the reigning Freedom Gate champion and will defend the title against Akira Tozawa at the DGUSA show in Michigan on July 27. He is expected to be gone from the promotion at the end of the month so it is likely that he will drop the belt to Tozawa.

WWE is trying to sign several wrestlers from the promotion, including Gargano, Sami Callihan and Brodie Lee, who is already signed and in FCW as Luke Harper.

neither did little guido, funaki, jamie noble. i'm with you in not believing there's going to be a CW show until i see it, but if they do one sami would be great because he's not a flippy guy. would make a good jobber or heel because of it.

Why would they hire a guy just to be a jobber?
Why would they be so high on Dean Ambrose and then just see Sami Callihan as a jobber actually?
    ...
Aside from the fact that his ring gear is the missing links ringgear.

that's kind of a silly question isn't it. they have a shitload of jobbers on the roster at all times.

my guess would be because he's over 6ft, looks like a superstar, and already wrestled a WWE friendly style.
