i was disappointed with the ladder war i saw(generico/steen vs briscoes) and i'm a much bigger fan of steenerico than ANX. it seemed they didn't know the difference between a ladder & TLC match.
any word on hero & claudio's status??

Mr. Backlund continued wrestling under the new gimmick of an out of touch, yet highly dangerous, maniac out to teach the new generation a lesson.[3] He often appeared in business suits, had a hyperactive personality, and used (or, often, misused) large words to sound important. He also demanded that he be addressed as "Mr. Backlund". He would only sign autographs for wrestling fans if they could recite the names of all of the US Presidents in chronological order

An unfortunate series of events is surrounding a Randy Savage tribute show that took place last weekend: apparently Greg Valentine no-showed the event, complaining about pay and the travel itinerary, and possibly even called the promoter drunk demanding all his money up front.
Well, then there's this....
More than anyone else who's a part of this, my respect for Lanny Poffo plummetted here. Taking part in an angle regarding a tribute show for YOUR OWN DEAD BROTHER? Jeezus...That Greg Valentine no-show last weekend is turning into an angle. Valentine made a statement saying that was sorry he used the language he did and was stressed out about travel, but the reason he no-showed was because that morning he got a phone call that his mother-in-law had two days left to live (as it turned out she made a recovery), so he flew to Nashville and missed the show. He said he called promoter Devon Nicholson about it. Nicholson said Valentine called him at 1:30 p.m. that day, which would have been before the show. So Nicholson probably shouldn't have buried him at the show the way he did.
Nicholson said Valentine called him later and said because of how it was announced at the event, he wasn't returning the money, which Nicholson claimed between the flight from Tampa, hotel, pay and photos he printed up to sell, it would come out to $2,000. In Valentine's statement, he apologized for no-showing and said he would be returning the money and did say he was mad that Nicholson didn't tell fans he was sorry he couldn't make it and the reason why, instead of burying him and putting tapes of phone calls on the Internet.
--This is going to turn into an angle with Lanny Poffo challenging Valentine to an MMA match on 12/30 in Gatineau. The angle will be that Poffo will pay Valentine $1,000 if he can beat him. Everyone can debate at which point the angle started.

DGUSA united NYC 1/29/11 trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TuZ1t3kIbuQ
1) Akira Tozawa vs. Sami Callihan great opener, head drop fest but that's most of it's charm
2) Jon Moxley vs. Jigsaw VERY GOOD. i hadn't seen jigsaw in awhile and he's put on some muscle. well worked smart match.
3) Jimmy Jacobs vs. Brodie Lee decent, i'm not much into either guy though.
4) Austin Aries vs. Rich Swann OK, a little disappointed as this was the biggest stage i've seen rich swann perform on and he seemed to let the nerves get to him.
5) Open The Freedom Gate Championship: BxB Hulk vs. Yamato really damn good but they messed up the finish(and that finisher usually looks pretty damn good)
6) Round Robin Tournament Match: Naruki Doi & Ricochet vs. Chuck Taylor & Johnny Gargano awesome. chucky & johnny work very well together.
7) Round Robin Tournament Match: CIMA & Dragon Kid vs. Masato Yoshino & Pac good. pac also put on some muscle. typical DG style tag here so if you really dig that you may enjoy more than me.
over all a very good show. RONNIN BABY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qy2Ac-L_ETg i knew rich swann was cool but i didn't know he was this awesome!!

When does ROH's show begin?
"When Elijah Snow says, 'The world is a strange place'... he gets Dracula, Doc Savage and Godzilla... When we say it, we get The Captain Fire-Cock Rock 'n' Roll Spectacular." ~Pol Rua
Just 40 minutes till ROH goodness. I can't wait.
Very nice so far.
Weren't they suppose to stream their show on their website for those of us who don't get Sinclair?
